Application Quick Memo:
Migration
How to migrate grades to the new version?
Do not uninstall the app, just follow the steps below:
Step 1: First, enter an email address to create an account in the new version and click 'Synchronize Notes' (if you already have an email address created for the new version, you can also use it).
Step 2: After synchronizing your notes, click 'Continue' to create a password or login and retrieve your notes in the new version.
After these two steps, you will be able to access your notes in the new version and also on any other device through the website www.noteonline.org. (Note: Use a valid email address to retrieve your notes; do not close or exit the app until synchronization is complete).
Why was migration necessary?
Unfortunately, the Google API changes constantly with Android updates, so your notes were vulnerable. Your notes from the old version will likely disappear completely in the next Android update for your device. If you uninstalled the app or lost your phone, your notes would disappear along with it. With the migration, your notes are securely stored and encrypted in the cloud, and you can access them wherever you need through the app or browser by accessing www.noteonline.org.
I migrated my notes to the new version and I can't find them. What should I do?
If you followed all migration steps, your notes are saved. Go to Accounts and click Sync Notes or log out and log back in.
I completed all migration steps but I can't log in to my account.
Use the password recovery option with the email used during migration. After resetting your password you will be able to access your account again.
To recover your password, go to: https://noteonline.org/users/recovery/recovery_account
I followed all procedures and still can't find my notes.
All notes were saved and linked to your email used during migration. Log in with that email or recover your password.
To recover your password, go to: https://noteonline.org/users/recovery/recovery_account

Will I lose my notes if I uninstall the app?
In the old version, yes. If you migrated to the new version, no, because your notes are saved in the cloud. Notes synced to the cloud are linked to your account. Reinstall the app and log in using the same email.
I can't migrate my notes because it says the notes from the old version weren't found.
As discussed in other topics, the old version is very unstable for saving notes because of Android updates. Perhaps your device updated Android before you migrated, and that's why your notes disappeared, or your device cleared the app cache, or the system crashed and your notes disappeared. To try and see if you can find the notes and migrate them, to confirm if the notes are appearing or not, on the migration page, after the "continue:" button, click on the "view old version" link. If no notes appear, restart your device and try migrating the notes again.
I tried everything, followed all the steps, but I couldn't migrate or view my notes. What do I do?
Don't despair! If you go to the "Migrate" section, at the bottom after the "Continue" button, there's a link called "View Old Version." Click on it and see if you can see your notes. You won't be able to edit them, only view them. Note that your notes are stored locally, so if your device clears the cache, or you uninstall your app, or in the next Android update, your notes in the old version will disappear completely. Migrate them to avoid this.
Can I access my notes from another device?
Yes. Once saved to the cloud, you can access them from any device or browser in www.noteonline.org.
I don't want to create an account, can I use the new version?
Yes, you can create new notes without an account in the new version. However, if you uninstall the app or lose your phone, there will be no way to recover your notes. Therefore, log in to the new version and create secure notes linked to your login email. This way, if something happens to your device, you can easily recover your notes.

Application Quick Notes:
The old version no longer appears; how do I recover my Notes?
As previously announced in August 2025, the old version of QuickNotes would be discontinued because Google required API updates, and versions prior to 2026 would not support these updates. However, according to the announcement, everyone should migrate their notes manually. If you haven't done so, you can recover your important notes by uninstalling the new version and downloading and installing the old version using the link below. Remember to transfer your important notes to the new version and save them online to avoid losing them. Please do this as soon as possible.

My app updated and I can no longer find my notes in the old version.
This topic is only for the Quick Notes app, not the Quick Memo app: unfortunately, we cannot perform automatic migration for the Quick Notes app, and as has been said since August 2025, in January 2026 anyone who did not migrate their notes manually would lose the notes from the old version because that version would be discontinued.
I can also access my notes in the browser.
All your notes have been saved and linked to your email. Access your notes in a regular web browser at:
