Questions about New Version from September 2025

There was an update in September 2025, how can I go back to the previous version?
Don't worry, your notes are saved on your device. Just look at the bar above in the new app with the green button labeled "Old Version" or "New Version" and switch between the new and old apps. See the image below.
old version button
If I upgrade to the new version, will I lose my notes?
No, the old version will still work with all your local notes, and you can access them whenever you want. Just remember that there will no longer be an update to the old version. In the old version, your notes are saved on your device. If something happens to your device, unfortunately, there's no way to recover them. In the new version, you can save your notes to the cloud and access them anywhere on a new device or in a web browser.
Will my notes automatically migrate to the new version?
No, the notes you have in the old version are only saved on your device, and due to formatting issues, there's no way to migrate them automatically. However, you can manually save your notes one by one. Use the new version and save your notes to the cloud to never lose them again.
My icon isn't showing up and I can't access the app?
Please restart your device and look for the app icon again. Remember that sometimes QuickMemo may be called "QuickMemo" or just "Memos" below the icon.
The old version isn't working well after the new update.
Support for the old version has ended, so it's stable. We suggest migrating to the new version and transferring any important notes to the new version. In the new version, you'll always have access to your notes through your login, and you can even open them on another device using a browser.
Even after following the help above, I couldn't recover my notes. What should I do?
We apologize for the inconvenience. We truly want to protect our users' notes. Unfortunately, Google, the owner of Google Play, forces developers to constantly update their apps and change code APIs. We really don't like this because we know users can't afford to lose their notes, but we are forced to make these updates. If you followed the previous help and still couldn't recover, check if your phone is automatically clearing its memory and files. Your phone may have deleted a file called database.db by mistake, and unfortunately, the update couldn't recover it. If you wish, you can try manually installing the previous version from August 2025 old version QuickMemo 7.3.0 apk. We suggest you use the new version of QuickMemo; it was designed for you to take your notes anywhere and save them to the cloud.
